Description

CVE-2023-45858 describes a directory traversal vulnerability in Paessler PRTG Network Monitor before version 23.4.88.1429. By manipulating path parameters, an attacker can access arbitrary local files on the affected system and read their contents. All installations of older versions are affected; the vendor fixed the issue with release 23.4.88.1429. The report provides no evidence of public exploit code or active exploitation in the wild.
