Description
CVE-2026-69414 (ShieldBreak) is a privilege escalation flaw in the Microsoft Malware Protection Engine of Windows Defender. The researcher Nightmare-Eclipse has now published a bypass exploit called ShieldCrash that circumvents the Microsoft patch for ShieldBreak, enabling privilege escalation once again.
