NATO Admiralty (AJP-2.1) grades confidence, independent of the risk score. Cross-source corroboration isn't tracked for non-CVE news, so single-source items are capped at a lower credibility number; a low number does not imply low quality.
Key insight
Adobe Lightroom Classic contains multiple critical vulnerabilities (path traversal, unsafe deserialization, integer overflow, buffer overflows, authorization flaws) that can be combined to enable remote code execution.
Description
Adobe Lightroom Classic contains multiple vulnerabilities of different types, including path traversal, unsafe deserialization of untrusted data, integer overflows, and multiple buffer overflows (out-of-bounds writes) as well as improper authorization checks. An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities individually or in combination to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the Lightroom process. The vulnerabilities require no special preconditions and may be exploitable locally or remotely in certain scenarios. Patch availability and status are not specified in the BSI advisory.
